Adam Crowe is the principal tubist of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra and the U.S. Coast Guard Band. He has toured throughout the United States, Japan, and Taiwan, and has often been a featured soloist. Adam recently recorded Jess Turner's concerto “Heavy Weather” for tuba and wind ensemble, and he has been active with commissioning new music involving tuba. As a conductor he has led the Coast Guard Band in several concerts and chamber programs, and he recently ended a 13 year tenure as music director for the Charter Oak Brass Band, Connecticut's premier brass band.
